*Carry-on Baggage Requirements

As of March 31, 2007 all passengers flying to and from Australia on international flights will only be permitted to carry small quantities of liquids, gels or aerosols in their cabin or carry-on luggage. Small containers of 100 mls (3.5 fl oz) are permitted and must be sealed in a transparent plastic bag. Details of the new security measures can be found at the Department of Transport website.
Domestic travel is not affected by these regulations.

最重要的---錢!

今天在網路上找到一些關於錢的消息...有空需要好好研究一下..
說到有空...我又想提早離職了..哈哈!

Note:每家銀行的帳戶基本上都大同小異,不同的地方就是提供給客戶的優惠條件多吸引人如帳戶管理費,提款次數限制,利率,收旅支要不要手續費,滙款手續費多少,開滙票要多少費用什麼的.但每家銀行的ATM卡都有EFTPOS的功能,就是可以直接拿來付款或直接到商家免手續費cash out

1.換一些澳幣現金,其他全換成旅支,記得兩處簽名,先簽名在一處,把旅支流水號抄起來,以便遺失時可以重新申請.

2.ANZ銀行:開SAVING ACCOUT直接存旅支,不收手續費,不收管理費.每個月4號前存10塊澳幣,可以生利息-- 查證:每個月的key date(也就是開戶日),存入10塊澳幣可以有bonus interest(利率較高),前提是不能提款,提款之後就沒有bonus interest.每月有一次免費提款手續費,之後一次要5塊.

3.WESTPAC銀行,直接旅支換現金不收手續費.


澳洲的銀行s:
ANZ National Bank - 好像真的不錯,以存款為訴求的帳戶(Serious Saver).
Commonwealth Bank - 也有類似的saving account(AwardSaver),但是bonus interest好像比較低.不過現在比較想辦他的另一個戶頭(woolworths ezy banking),買東西可以集點,也不用收管理費,記得查woolworths的店多不多?
National Australia Bank
Westpac - 也有saving account(Reward Saver),條件有些差別,感覺ANZ的比較好,要再研究一下..
HSBC Bank - 利息高,存款條件也好,但是開戶要2000塊..
St.George Bank

*Working Holiday visa label requirements

If you are granted an online Working Holiday visa (subclass 417), you do not need a visa label in your passport. Instead, you will be sent notification of the grant of your visa via your nominated postal or email address. Please keep this notification as it describes the conditions that apply to your visa.
If you want a visa label in your passport you have two options:

>> If you arrive at Sydney Airport, you can have your visa label printed before you leave the airport. When your passport is stamped on entry; ask for directions to the visa label desk.

>> If you arrive at any other Australian airport you can go to any office of the department to have your visa label printed.
